Fish Domestic Longhair Adult Male for sale in Brookings, South Dakota

Fish's story
Fish is a sweet, handsome boy who came to us via owner surrender with Lower Urinary Tract Disease. He was started on a primarily wet food diet, but he is offered a Urinary dry food. Fish has shown no interest in his dry food, so we would suggest a wet food only diet to help prevent Fish's tract from blocking again. Fish is also front paw declawed! He LOVES scratches and pets, but does not like being picked up due to his painful belly. Even though Fish has this disease, he loves everyone that he has met, but he would do best in a calmer home. Stop in and meet Fish today! Who knows? Maybe he'll SWIM away with your heart!
Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
